New job update

So, since I don't work on Fridays I am officially done with my first week! I like my job:) Very detailed! Very specific, for example I was working on transferring titles to another state and wow it was slow going. Yes it was my first time, but the person training me would rather me take my time and not mess up, than hurry and get it done. She was very happy and impressed that my only mistakes were Switching two 0 for a o. The 0 was sandwiched in between 6 letters. I just have to remember no "o" in title work! Because titles are so specific you have to be very careful entering the numbers in and recheck it! This job is going to look great on my resume! But alas since right now I am not working on Friday I am subbing today, just to keep up with for now. If you sub for 90 days you can keep your certification

New job and pms...

I start on Monday! Irritated i am subbing today and it shows... I applied at Landrum's for a specific job that someone was referring me for, and ended up at Enterprise. Now, I am technically a temp to hire. If I work 12 weeks at Enterprise, they will hire me. I wanted a desk job and I finally got one! Same pay as right now, but no annoying kids! Basically, all I know I will be renewing tags and such. Plus no work on Fridays! Oh and they are ok with me going on the cruise! I am thanking God for this opportunity and praying everything goes well. Today I just want to run away from these kids! Two hours left... Bad thing is the last block class is the worst. Mainly the last 20 min. They usually run out of stuff to do and get crazy... Oh yeah it doesn't help to be pmsing...

Update

Still early and sleepy today, but hubby already got up and left and found me a job this am. Mixed reviews on that one, I am glad to work, I was pretty bored the last couple days, plus we need the money. But, I am tired, I was not mentally prepared due to the fact its fact week. They don't like uncertified folks breathing on the tests... Not being sarcastic, ok maybe a little but not much! I was told they can't touch the tests let alone be in the room. But here I am showered and partially dressed getting ready for work. On other news hubby finally got the official yes you can go on the cruise! Seriously folks, waiting till the last minute! And apparantly all he has is 4 work days next month! Crazy! I am calling two businesses today, one to check my application status, and two to ask about filling in a position that will soon be vacant due to this person (that I know) moving. I will keep you posted, I got two more rejection letters this week... I need to ask someone why? Anyway, in coupon world doing good, cvs printed out 15 dollar off coupons for physicians formula makeup! Dusty didn't get it, but my mom and I did. My mom ended up giving it to me, and in return I helped get her close to free makeup, different brand. This coupon was taking 15 dollars off whether or not your makeup was 15! I got some mineral powder and some nice liquid foundation. I organized my makeup when I got home. I have like 6 mascaras, (unopened ) 3 foundation, 3 fancy lip gloss, 10 eyeshadows that I plan to give away, and Nivea Chapstick, that I plan to give away too! 15 nail polish too! I love coupons! I remember trying to use my mascara longer than I should have and not having nail polish and in general not wanting to spend the money! I should talk to you later...

Tired Tuesday...

Elementary school today, so tired. . But I get to be home around 2:30! Looking forward to that lol:) walking into the classroom it felt like they had the heat on!! Are you kidding me?! I promptly opened the back door and tried to turn the air on in the room. Thirty minutes later it feels much better. Still no email regarding a interview or anything. Trust in the Lord. Lately, I have felt like I need to focus on reading the Bible more. I pray throughout the day, but reading the Bible I don't really do.. I know it is something most struggle with, but I really want to be able to understand the Bible and get to know God better.

Easter weekend

Friday there was no school, not because it was good Friday mind you, it was a "teacher planning day." So, we went shopping for the cruise and things we need in general. Dusty got a whole load of nice shirts for cheap and we both got a hat, sunglasses, and footwear. It was an enjoyable day. :) Saturday, we slept in and then dusty had an errand to run, but then we went to the beach! Later than hoped, but we still made it. I don't think I got sun:( I must have though because dusty got a little red and I didn't wear sunscreen... Sunday, we volunteered doing coffee at church so we got there around 7:15! If you know me that is extremely early and especially on a Sunday. But, it is fun to hang out and stuff bulletins, drink coffee, and eat breakfast before service:) Since it was Easter there was more coffee to make, more bulletins to stuff, plastic eggs to put together. We didn't get much time to sit in service, but we had a good morning. This evening we went to my rents and had a yummy dinner and shared memories. My dad talked about his young life as a hoodlum, it was fun hearing stories I have never heard about before. Overall, a good Easter year. :)

This past weekend was fun but eventful... Dusty worked the weekend so, Saturday I took my dog to the vet to get her one year shots and her heart worm/flea medicine. It was crazy! Everything from cats meowing to dogs whining to Bella wanting to say hi to every living thing to a baby goat!! We finally get to go in one of the patient rooms and we hear a commotion outside in the waiting area. A dog bit either a person or a pet, hard to tell by just listening.. This caused more delays and by the time they came in to administer the shots, Bella was nervous. Because in the room you could hear a dog crying in the back. Well, she got her three shots and treat, I overpaid which I didn't realize till later. About an hour later, she started crying and whining. Every time she moved or if I left her side. At this time the bet was closed. I called the pet hospital and they said watch for hives, vomiting, or diarriah. It started getting worse, I went to go pick her up and she shrieked! I was unsure of what to do, dusty wasn't home, the vet was closed and she wasn't reacting with an allergic reaction. I finally made the decision to go the hospital and they checked her out and gave her some pain medication. She is better now, thankfully. Sunday I went to the beach with a friend. This time I wore sunscreen, got just a smidge of sun. Watched small sting rays jump out of the water. Come to find out, they jump to confuse and avoid predators!!! Lol scary! And then last night we got 10 hours of sleep!! Also, the radio KLOVE was playing the upbeat morning song:)
