So Many Things

Can I hire a cleaning crew?? Laundry, floors, scrubbing, wiping, packing, oh my ... My fridge is gross, my white cupboards need cleaning, our bathrooms need bleach and scrubbing, and more. I am praying that I don't give in and be overwhelmed. That won't help anything. Last night nothing got done, we went to eat with the in-laws which was good. We don't see them often.. I am feeling better than the past two days, but still have a sore throat.. I won't know till this weekend if I lost any weight, due to period. I hope this does not come off as complaining, I just have so much to do!! God is in control:)

The ups and downs

So, today is my official weigh in day.... Totally up almost two pounds! It's just how my body has been operating on this journey. Frustrating at times, but its working! I think I only used 1 extra point this week out of my weekly points. I use them if I need it, but I really dont need them yet. I have 34 points now and it's been a bit of an adjustment. Sounds so weird one point, right? Anyway,

Today is my Friday at work and then we leave tomorrow! We are going on a short trip 4 days and will be back Monday night. Bella will be babysat by my parents for the first time! Nervous! Lol:)

Breakfast

I would like to show you how I cook eggs in the microwave when I am on the run! You can use a mug, but this glass bowl worked great. Spray with cooking spray then crack your egg or eggs or measure out whites and don't forget seasoning. I put in for 30 sec then stirred, then put it in for like ten sec at a time until done! Then I put it into a piece of bread. Yummo 5 point breakfast sandwich!







Choc candy finds!!

Ok so I posted before that my husband bought me WW 1 pnt candy for valentines. Well, those are all gone now lol! One a day and those disappear! I like a bit of choc every day, not a huge ice cream fan, not big on cake, but a bit of choc sounds like a good afternoon pick me up. When it comes down to it, points matter. Most desserts and sweets are 2-4 pnts. Not bad, but if your looking for a 1 pointer- look no farther than dove. Go to the regular candy aisle (not sugar free! ) and grab yourself a bag of the individually wrapped choc. Caramel, peanut butter, cookies and cream, dark chocolate and scan those suckers with your phone! Serving is 6pnts don't be discouraged! Change the serving to pieces and check out the points if you have 1, or two, or three, or four! You will see up to 4 pieces its 1 point! Now, if you have trouble stopping then maybe this idea is not for you. I like to put something small and sweet in my lunch and 1 pnt is to my liking. Below I have a picture of the WW candy and the dove, dove looks smaller, but packs a punch! Suck on it slowly and it gives you a satisfying sweet for 1 pnt!

Monday Moe's and beef jerkey!

Yesterday was Monday, so we decided to go and check out Monday Moe's. the deal is buy any burrito for 5.99 and you get chips and a drink. I always thought that somehow this was a gimmick or a jr. Burrito... Nope! You get their 12 inch huge burrito with chips and drink for 5.99 all day long! It's a lot of food, my hubbie really tried to eat the whole burrito... Don't know why?? He could not finish his meal, I ate half of my burrito and about half of my chips and I was full but not stuffed. Very satisfied. I figured out the points at home and not too bad. For half of mine 11 points. Now zthe chips not sure? All I saw on the website was a side of chips for 10 points. I don't think it was 10 points worth? A serving of chips usually are 4-5 points. But I am counting my half portion at 5, it's better to go high then low I guess. So with chips it's higher than what I might serve for dinner at home, but a good restaurant meal- point wise:) then we went and bought almost free gum!, and beef jerkey! Then my hubbie realized they had gamer codes on the beef jerky! They were selling on eBay! Basically we got more beef jerkey and the codes are almost sold, which means we made our money back! Points wise jerky is not bad, turkey jerky is like 1 pnt per ounce, but we got beef and its 2 points for 1 ounce(1serv) not bad! Protein snack, good for road trips or in place of proteins bar or peanut butter in lunches.

Sat rolls

So sat, went walking downtown and it was very nice! We have a thriving farmers market with tons of goodies ready to be sold, new coffee and breakfast shops! Our city is trying folks!! Ate breakfast at my fav bagel place .... They got all our orders wrong. Mom did not get tomatoes- specifically asked, myself and our friend ordered sundried tomato bagel and we got chedder jalepeno. Long story short we both ate at least half and both were sitting on the toilet within the hour! I ended up taking a bit of pepto later because it was starting to burn..😕 Never had that reaction before... Well lets just say I won't be eating that bagel for awhile..
I also make southwestern egg rolls from Emily bites. They were successful.. Yum! I froze half and we have some for dinner tonight as well. Def eat it with salsa, but she recommends that anyway. Weird thing is recipe is for 1 package-24, I only got 20 i think? bur used the whole package and all that was in the bowl. so, followed instructions and the only diff was i didnt get 24 in my pack, and i also only had enough for the pack...? Catching up

Well my life has been hectic... We met with our friend/realtor that sold us our house- two days ago. Yes, we officially are moving! As long as God keeps saying yes, the plan is to move the first week of August. My mommy is sad 😔 but understands. I will miss my friends that I reconnected with since moving back, but with technology and 8 hour drives all is not lost! I am sure once I get prego I will come back and have a party so all my peeps can see me prego or see the little one. That brings up children... I think the move will deter things for roughly a year. We will see..

So anyways, I really want to paint my nails, have for like two weeks! Hopefully this weekend, I wish I could plunge into my Cali friends collection😀! Hung out with a grown up friend last night and brought the dog, because she has a male poodle. They got sweet on each other, he wanted more, but even with them both being snipped we said no! Don't want them in the habit of doing it, I doubt my little one would let him. She can be a flirt though! Today my mom and our dog friend are walking then enjoying bagels at my fav watering hole, that's why I am up at this darn hour so I can join them😊 hubby is working nights, I need groceries , making southwestern egg rolls off of Emily bites, have more baking to do this weekend, phew lots to do!

Twenty pounds!

I have officially lost 20 pounds! It is not fun to have extra twenty pounds on your body. I have more to lose, but I am feeling better every day! Non scale victories (NSV) I have been able to wear shirts that I have not been able to wear for awhile. I am so thankful, The Lord has helped my back to be pain free for about 6 months give or take. Bells, dusty and myself joined up with a church group and walked three miles on Sat. It was enjoyable! Bella was wiped out, and because we were hiking up and down my legs felt like jello by the time we got back to the parking lot, but it was good! Yesterday, dusty and I took bells for a walk for 30 min as well:) our new goal is to walk Bella every day! This is dual benefit, but more for Bella. She needs more exercise, so along with daylight savings, dusty and I will walk her in the afternoon/evening. With both walks I got 9 activity points! Go me :) well I need to go ttyl!

Goofed

So, I am doing WW online... Yesterday I started to play around with weight and points. Just curious to see what points I can get down to eventually. . I figured out I can go down to 26 just like my mom. Well, putting back my correct weight in should have corrected the points back to what it should be now 35. It didn't... I don't know how to reset it? Erg.. :(

Spinach artichoke chicken!

Do you like the dip? I do! So, check out Emily Bites version of this dip/casserole. She calls it skinny spinach & artichoke chicken. I made it and served it for tonight's dinner, and the verdict is that I will be making this again! Not only on chicken, but maybe as a loaded potato? Yummy! In her recipe she uses 1/3 less fat cream cheese and Greek yogurt. I did not have either one, so I used regular cream cheese and nonfat yogurt. I plugged in the ingred. And it came out the same point wise! Everything else I followed. Serving size is 1 cutlet ( realized later that my chicken tenderloins were smaller than what she had) I had two due to me not planning any sides and not eating much today. For me eating two was a bit too much. Not quantity but too much dip. I am in no way saying I didn't like it, just eating too much takes away from it. I think 1 will be good for me next time and plan some crusty bread on the side to accompany it. I think that this mixture will also be good on a baked potato. Def have to try it out!

Amish cranberry scones

I have been blessed with a Amish starter, but since I am on WW and want to have variety... I am making fresh cranberry scones. The recipe says it makes 12... Totally humongous if only 12! If you make 24 it should be two points. A little less than 24 it will be three points. I like the two point variety :) very yummy, by the way!















Good things

Eventful weekend for sure! Weighed myself sat since I knew water weight should be coming off soon. It went down to 19.6!!!! I am ecstatic! I tried to be good and track over the weekend, but I am nervous. I am not going to weigh myself for a few days so I am not weighing myself every morning. My mom found a pair of target black dress pants at a yard sale for only 1.50! Praise The Lord! I did not want to wear the two sizes two big pants ever again.... I can fit into my 14 jeans, but my 16 are still more comfy so we will see. I made spicy sausage bow tie pasta dish off of Emily bites, very yummy! Also, made cranberry scones that are 2 points if you doll out exact portions. I will post pics later :)

Thankful it's march

A new month with new goals! Feb was a slow month in regards to weight loss, but I did lose so I am thankful! Today is march 1st, I hope and pray I can lose 5 pounds this month! We are going on vacation the first week of April and I want to be wearing my size 14 jeans with ease! I have lost two pounds since I tried them on and since I am still on my period this week I am going to wait. I am only up .2 so I expect good things this week! Tomorrow hopefully I can get a pair of dress pants that fit me.. Free that is. If I wait any longer I won't be able to keep them up! Thankfully we have no one trying to pants people in our office, because one good tug and whoosh there goes everything! Lol :) sometimes it's hard to realize I am thinner because its not drastic enough. Yet. My brother said I looked thinner and that's nice to hear. We really don't have extra money for clothes right now. :( we are investing in our future lets say and we have had to pay some things which leaves us just fine, but no extras right now. So, hopefully my mom and I can find a garage sale or thrift store item every once in awhile. I must go I am working on a Friday again which helps for our trip coming up.
