Updat
Monday I weighed in and I have lost 14.2! Yeah!!! Now my period started after that and I went up, but it goes down. My points went down, I am now at 35 points. Last weekend I relaxed and decided not to track. It was nice to have a break, and I lost weight!
New recipes- sweets
I have the cutest husband alive! He found and printed up WW recipes for me! Lol so cute! The first one I tried was the 2 point pumpkin spice muffin. Very yummy! 1 can of pumpkin purée, 1 cup of water, and 1 box of spice cake mix. Just mix and pour in 24 sprayed muffin tins. I used 2 cookie scoops per muffin. A friend mentioned that she uses different flavored cake mixes. The pumpkin taste does not shine through! I think I might do choc one day and use coffee instead of water. As a whoopie pie, you can cut the muffin in half and put fat free whip in the middle and freeze ... Good, I think I will try baking them as a cookie to get it spread out more.
Next my new favorite banana choc icecream. Take your brown banana, peel and freeze. Then when you want some ice cream with little or no points( depending on how you fix it) take frozen banana and a splash of almond milk, 1 sweetener packet, and a teaspoon of cocoa . Blend this up till nice and creamy... Very good, it's not very bananaee if you add the cocoa and sweetener. I eat it plain but depending i you like it or not, plus you can put fun items on top like mini choc chips!( points vary)

Gumbo and my birthday
This is my period week... It's also my birthday on Saturday... Not sure how my birthday will turn out, but we will see. Made chicken and turkey sausage gumbo and I think it was a success! I will put the recipe up later

Today is a new day...
Sigh seems like more than one person had a tough day yesterday... I messed up at work and found out yesterday :(... I still fought a headache for the whole morning.. Sigh I just have to remember today is a new day! Cheesy? Well I don't think so, God told us that each day is fresh and new so rejoice and be glad in it! Don't bring the negative in from yesterday, if you can:/ sometimes your bad days spill into more than one day! I had the weirdest dreams, so much so I woke up and was praying against bad things... Lord, please help me have a great day!

Migraine and onion rings
Last night my head started hurting, kept going through the morning. Do I normally get migraines, NO! But I called in... I found excedrin and slept till 1! Thankfully my headache is gone:) so with time to kill I tried some recipes:)!! First off 1/2 cup oatmeal, seriously? Like that keeps me full.. So, hungry girl stumbled upon the fact that oatmeal grows! Put double the liquid and with extra time it expands to a nice portion! You need old fashioned oats, I put 1/2 cup oats with 2 cups of water and 1/2 cup of unsweetened applesauce and cinnamon and 2 packets of sweetener in a pot and cooked it. You cook it to your consistency, I cooked it the night before, and let it be wet still. That way in the morning it won't be so dry when I reheated it. Very filling! I had to eat it in two sittings :) next foux fried onion rings. Fiber one ground up and seasoned with onion powder, garlic powder, salt and black pepper, and any other seasoning you would like. Don't be afraid to put a little extra seasoning due to the cereal being a bit sweet. 1/2 cup then ground then seasoning. Take egg beaters or egg white. I used one small onion and one egg white. Cut, dip, dip in crumbs, put on pan with cooking spray. 375 for 20 min or so.. Halfway flip them! Yummy!i was skeptical but u couldn't stop eating them. With what I used 2 pnts!

New recipe
Eggplant stirfry:) success! Key to eggplant is to get Japanese eggplant or some other baby eggplant versus the really big ones that are usually bitter.. The only kind I could find was graffiti eggplant. Turned out really good and I served it over a serving of brown rice for a total of 7 points! The eggplant dish is only 3 pnts.

So I have lost 5% of my weight, or something like that which means the scale finally gave in to this battle and I lost 13.2!! So a pattern is emerging and not sure why.. I have like 0-.2 lost in one week then the next I lost 1.6-2.4 in a week! Like it just decides to leave overnight after clinging to my body. My app told me I was losing weight to fast this week, but I am under 2 pounds a week on average? Plus I am eating all my points, I even ate a few of my weeklies! I am glad this weight is coming off! I am still having a hard time mentally believing that this is going to work. But you know what, just as I start to think that way, God is in control and He is with me. Thank you Lord for helping me this week and please help me in the continuing weeks. Since I have started this weightloss journey, I have gone on a roller coaster of emotions and I still have a long way to go...

Stuffed shells
I finally made the stuffed shells off of Emily bites. Made changes due to what we had and could find. But overall turned out good! The points are never the same but it's hard to follow exactly especially if store brands are involved. I ran out of time and had to cook up some shells separate for dinner.

F-R-E-E song:)
This song came on this morning on the mix that my husband made and it really spoke to me. Yesterday u was really dealing with low self esteem and self doubt. This morning, I believe God spoke to me through a song and was telling me I was free of all that negativity! It was a reminder God is with me and helping me through this journey. I worked out by dancing for an hour last night so I have 9 activity points so far and tonight I will be working out with a friend:) the scale finally went down to 12 pounds again... Gots to go

Frustrated
So I went up a whole 1.2! I don't get it.... I don't think I have ever been this yoyo... It's frustrating! I am following the plan and doing my best not to eat my weekly points... If I don't see enough change this week I am going to bump my points down by one. I did a 20 min mile, walk/jog yesterday... Nothing to be proud of other than lapping people on the couch. I am thankful I can do that right now, I had a bad back injury and could barely walk a block due to pain and numbing my leg. My mom had surgery for her varicose veins and the doctor told her if she saw what running did to her veins, she would never do it again! So, if mom and I somehow found the money and a place to swim, that would be the best place I think. It's amazing how you can work out with an injury! Lord please help me with my diet and exercise and my mom, we are both struggling with what the scale says and with how are bodies might need swimming for exercise... You can provide a way, please provide and guide us in the way we should go. Amen

Enchilada bake
It was a success, the biscuit does taste good with it. It may look filling, but surprisingly it's not extremely filling. We had broccoli on the side. Hubby would eat this again! My advice is def choose wisely your ingred but have fun with it! Add more of this or that and enjoy!
Yeah!!
12.2 pounds officially lost! :) I also did 20 min of a jog/ walk combo for a mile. I am working on getting more activity in my life, this is an area where I am not good in yet. I pray that God can provide a will and a way in my heart to exercise. I would like a gym membership now, gyms are very helpful. Before Christmas I saw a sign for Riviera for 99 dollars for a year... Black Friday sale! I had not gotten the drive to do this whole thing yet... Plus we really don't have lots of extra money to burn. We have a planet fitness nearby and that would be a nice place to go.. But without a gym I have to be creative. We have dance central that is a lot of fun and works up a sweat, and I have found a way to easily mark a mile in our neighborhood without passing my house more than once:) I still don't like how I look in pictures... It's going to be a long journey... Sigh, but I will just keep on at it..
Sunday meals
I am currently cooking up a new recipe called "bubble up enchilada bake" I found it on Emily Bites and tweaked it. It was a 9x13 pan but she said it was 6 servings! That is a big serving! Now I usually try to incorporate some veggies, so if that is all you were eating I get it... She said hers was 7 points for six servings. But she used her store brand biscuits.. I just grabbed a biscuit container and probably got a high calorie one. I will check points next time. Because I came out with 9 points for 1/8 of the 9/13 pan. As well as I got the full fat Mexican cheese instead of light or fat free. Obviously I could make this less points. But first time this is how I made it. 1 pound of Jennie-o turkey cooked and seasoned with salt and black pepper. I can enchilada sauce. I can of rotel of your choice. 2 cups of cooked black beans( I used dry that I cooked up yesterday). 1 can of biscuits that I cut up in 6ths. 1 cup of Mexican cheese on top.it looks pretty good, not sure how the biscuits with Mexican goes.. Once it's all baked I will let you know how it is :) I also made angel food pineapple cupcakes and I think it would be better in a pan versus in muffin liners. Plus I used an off brand angel food and I think I didn't beat it enough! Lol tastes good though:)

Not the best week on the scale...
Yes I lost weight this week, but this week it was tough... I feel ok and know that the scale will be friendly this coming week. It's amazing how emotional losing weight is. This week I had a tough time, just not feeling good and being tired. But I feel better today. I need to find my groove and get some cleaning and meal planning done today.. Lord help me today and this coming week. Thank you

Not wanting to eat
So this week I was and am unprepared... We have food, but nothing sounds appetizing... I need to eat but I don't want to. I can tell I am near starving but I am having a hard time forcing myself to eat. I am being stubborn and childish and it's frustrating... I really don't want to go to work. I know I must and I know I am being silly.. Lord help me today, I need a better attitude about work and food. Please help me make a decision on what to eat today... Amen

College football
To be honest college football is not my thing. My Hubbie roots for the gators, so that's what I do! Last night friends of ours had a party to watch championship game and to be honest it was a pretty boring game with Alabama crushing Norte dame:( I had forgotten about the party and did not leave myself enough time in the morning to come up with a yummy lunch. I ended up having a hungry day:( which wouldn't have been so bad except the party was that night! Long story but I came home and I was hungry, I ate a couple snacks and then we had to wait for the party to start! On our way I said I might need caffeine, hubby pulls up to Starbucks ( in my head I am thinking points , way too many points) I had a tall vanilla latte skinny. At this point I am racking up my points and on top of it my app is not working!! Erg! So we get there and I still have not had "dinner" but I only had a few points left... Thankfully they had veggies and hummus and grapes. I did have some party food, but kept it to a minimum. As much as I can figure out I think I used 22 over my daily points:( but that is why they are there. I am up .4 no biggie. I should drink lemon water tonight. That usually helps the body let go of the sodium I ingested last night. Hence get rid of water weight. Didn't get home till 11:30 :(... Tired mentally this week... Work is on my mind. I have not planned meals at all this week, I usually have at least one planned meal with leftovers. Hopefully baby can step up this week and help make some dinners.. Well I must go ttyl

Proud
Yesterday was my brothers birthday. He is 29 now! I am really surprised and happy that he made a really good effort to get along and not be abrasive. He asked again when he would become an uncle, dusty said he already is! Lol! But I told him probably in the next two years... Maybe a year and a half. I want to lose weight and we need to see how financially we could work it out. Knowing that we will never be ready, but we would need a game plan and we aren't there yet. My mom made cornflake chicken and slaw salad and carrot cake :) did she figure out points ... NO! I had 18 left so I just put two Tbs of slaw and a small piece of chicken and some salad. basically portion control. Then dessert came out:) mom used to make this cake for every birthday. Including making two for feb 1 and feb 2 :) thank you mom for allowing us to have our own birthday celebration! I was good and only had a tiny tiny sliver... I tasted it and wanted more( come on I only had a tiny tiny sliver!) but I resisted :) and today I lost .4!! So 11.6 I think:) very happy. Now I must go and please pray because this week we are doing an accesment on my job... Stressful! Bye ladies

Church and the new year
I like our church. I have gotten closer to God the past few years. I still lack in areas, but if we had it all figured it out then we couldn't grow:) right? They have been talking about Imposters. People that call them selves Christians, but their actions and word don't match up.. Very scary place to be.. I also pray and hope that coworkers negativity does not rub off on me... I really want to read the bible this year. Our church has a plan and I am praying I can keep up! My prayer time is in the car, my husband got me hooked on klove and I love it! They are across the US and they are so encouraging! I pray and worship in the car by myself :)

I lost another pound!! YEAH!!!! That makes it 11.2 officially. My clothes are definitely loose and soon I will probably be wearing my 14 jeans! It gets a little frustrating sometimes about losing weight slowly. I watched biggest loser yesterday and they are losing massively compared to what we lose in the real world. Yes, I know they work out like 4 hours a day I think and they have nutritionists and doctors.... But it is encouraging to steadily go down. One thing I have not gotten yet is when do they take a point from me, I am currently on 36. I was on 37, but so far only lost one point. I seriously have too many points. I end up using my daily points for high value treats or what not and I never use my weekly points. ( Unless I am at my moms for the holidays lol) I guess its good I do not use my weeklies, and I do try to beef up my points during the day.. oh well, I will lose them one by one and I guess it slowly adjusts you to less. I am curious how much one gets on maintenance. I never went on maintenance with LA weight loss. I guess my mom did, but I do not remember what it was like. I think I have 3-4 weeks before my birthday I can safely say I plan on reaching 15 pounds by my birthday. I do need to step it up exercising, I know that will help with loss and toning. I guess that is all for now...

Honey mustard pretzel chicken!
I went for it! Yum! Dashing dish and hungry girl both have versions of this and I compares the two and did my own. Due to I had different pretzels and stuff. Basically their recipe but I have to enter it in the builder. I defrosted a chicken breast and it came to be 14 oz uncooked. I cut it up in strips. Then put salt and pepper on them and set aside. I took a cup of mini pretzels which was a serving and a half and crushed them to fine bits. The smaller the better, then I put garlic powder in it. Then set aside. I used 5 tablespoons of honey mustard mixed with two tbpsn of water mixed. Take your chicken dip it in the mustard mix then in the pretzel bits. Place on a pan with foil and a spray of cooking spray. Bake at 425 for ten min. Then flip it and then spray it again. Bake for ten more min. :) enjoy!
