What might take three years, you ask? Curtains! Yes I finally have curtains up in the living room and I love it! Did I almost cry when I realized the amount it was costing doubled?, why yes almost. Do I like spending money on curtains? Not so much. Am I glad they are up, Yes. There are a few major house improvements that are getting higher on the list lately. Cutting down our 5 huge oak trees, this is expensive, very expensive.. Why, you might ask, we'll hubby is tired of the leaves. The leaves fall and collect against the house and then it rains and bugs like to come inside. All kinds of bugs, tiny spiders that eat big spiders, pincher bugs that look odd, various types. We don't see that many roaches inside, but we see them on the outside of the house due to the leaves. To solve this issue trees must come down. Second thing we need is a shed, we have no garage so where do we put things? Wherever we can find room, our laundry room is crowded with tools and things. Our friends let us keep our mower in their garage temporarily. House issue number three, our bathrooms. Everything was updated except the exhaust fan ( there is none) and the tub. Well our bathroom the wall behind the toilet has gone soft, we need to tear it out and replace some walls and put a fan in and put new shower in! The hallway bathroom is what we are currently using and that needs the same things but we might wait and do that another time.
Kickboxing is tonight, after a long day in training I think that will be great! I am just continuing watching what I eat and work out more and one day I will see the scale budge. Emily bites put up a zucchini casserole that I want to try :) well, I must shower and pack my lunch and get ready for work!
