Couponing and house

So, first of all publix has been practically giving away fiber one cereal again! Dusty and I don't need any, but both of our parents want/need some and a family with kids we know. So over the course of a few days we bought 60-70 boxes of cereal!! What did we pay you might ask? 0 dollars! The deal was fiber one was on sale for 2.50 a box, then for this sale ad publix put a 2.00 off general mills cereal. Right there you get a box for .50, but if you got manufacture coupons for the fiber one (ex. 1.00 off two; .75 off one) and you could get it free!! You might think 70 is overkill. Well, it's not going to one family, but like my brother and parents bought 40 boxes last time the sale happened and they are almost out! So, don't fret people will eat it up and usually the people we shopped for would give some boxes to people they know would need it. We also got a decent deal on tuna. They had these ready to eat light tuna packs 100 calories for 10 for 10 or 1.00 each. Publix has a store coupon for 1.00 off two. Basically .50 a pack. Not free, but I looked it is about the same amount of tuna in a can and it is lunch ready and cheaper than a can! So we bought a bunch for lunches. Publix also had this up to u gum on sale for .99 and dusty bought coupons for 1.00 off and we stocked up on free gum!! It is nice not to have to pay full price for gum. I think I will be set for almost a year! That is not all we bought, but those were the big free items. We go to CVS usually on Sundays and we shop for my mom as well as for ourselves. So, we go not thinking we would get much this week. We just follow ads and just regenerate CVS bucks, so we were minding our own business and started picking out deodorant for a deal when this other couple come in the aisle and start grabbing bottles of shaving cream. Now this is a telltale sign that someone stumbled on a great deal. Lol we know because we have been there. Apparently, if you bought two cans you would get 4.00 in CVS bucks. Well, there were 2.00 off coupons on some of the cans. I think they were slightly under 4.00 so basically free! We didn't get any of that, but they opened our eyes to some clearance deodorant deals. By the end of the two CVS we went to we got my mom : 3 American greeting cards, a Cadbury egg, physicians formula mascara, 2 irish spring body wash, and 19 deodorants..... For three dollars. We also got a clinical strength deodorant for myself two newspapers, cards, and 2 cadbury eggs for under a dollar I think. So, my mom loves when we shop for her! We shop then magically leave stuff on her counter usually when she is not home. She says the coupon fairies bring her gifts! Lol :) I know my family didn't need 19 deodorants in all,but if we had not bought so many we would not have gotten the deals we got. Plus, it gives them the opportunity to give!! It feels amazing to be able to bless people. To keep it short basically there was a buy one get one coupon in paper. Irish spring deodorant was a 1.00 but the coupon took off 3.98 so you buy two and you have 1.98 to spend on whatever you want! We did that more than once, plus you can use more than one coupon in a transaction.. Ok so enough about all that. The house. We put up pics back on the wall and rearranged from last time. Plus now that we moved furniture we have this blank wall that needed stuff. We bought a entry table from Target and printed out abstract nature pics and put them in cute square frames that hang by a ribbon, and my black trivets are now hanging on the side of my kitchen wall looking pretty and easily accessible! Not quite done with everything, but party is Sat!
